WHAT IS VENTURI TRAP?
In almost all of the companies using steam in the Turkish and world market, it is standard with float, thermodynamic, thermostatic or _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136_bad_5cf Inverted bucket traps are used in bb3b-136bad5cf58d_. The Venturi steam trap is currently provided and implemented by a few manufacturers mostly in the American and European markets. This type of traps, which are becoming more and more widespread, do not contain any moving parts due to their design and working principle, thus minimizing the energy consumption caused by trap leaks as well as working for many years without requiring maintenance.

WHAT IS THE WORKING PRINCIPLE OF THE VENTURI TRAP?
Thanks to the appropriate volume and venturi structure designed according to the capacity inside, it uses the density difference principle to evacuate the condensed condensate first, while preventing steam leakage. In an environment where steam and condensate are mixed, since the density of the condensate is higher than the steam , it first evacuates the condensate towards the low pressure line with the pressure force in the processes or steam lines. Here, the condensate itself and the flash steam counterpressure formed after the venturi constitute the main elements that prevent steam leakage. Since it is specially designed for each capacity, steam leakage can be completely prevented. The venturi structure minimizes the back pressure caused by the flash steam formed during discharge and increases the discharge capacity of the trap compared to an orifice. Another advantage of this is that it is not possible in processes, but it minimizes steam leakage even in the absence of condensation. Larger diameter orifices in a traditional trap can cause much more steam leaks in case of malfunction of the mechanism.
